Kindersley, SK – The Kindersley Klippers are very excited to announce that defenseman Jaxon
Herchak has committed to Colorado College (NCAA Div. 1).
Jaxon was drafted by the Kindersley Klippers back in June with the clubs first round selection.
Herchak had a great season last year, which was highlighted with representing Team
Saskachewan at the Canada Winter Games. Herchak was the Captain of the team that ended up
losing in the Gold Medal game. Herchak was also a part of the the Warman Wildcats in the
SMAAAHL. The Klippers organization is excited to be a part of the Herchak’s development and
help him work towards all of his goals.
Coach Jardine says “The very first meeting I had with Jaxon and his parents, I could tell that he
came from a special family that supports his goals and dreams. Jaxon is a motivated and
passionate individual that holds himself to a high standard. We are looking forward to helping
Jaxon along the way with his hockey journey. Playing Division 1 hockey is a challenge for
everyone so we will do everything to make sure that Jaxon and all of his teammates are prepared
for the next level. Our priority’s are helping all of our players find a NCAA opportunity after
their time here. Colorado College is a great choice for Jaxon and the Tigers are lucky to get him.
The staff at Colorado College is great to work with and we look forward to growing that
